Welcome to the Emergency Response Foundation's Web Site.

Our Mission

To provide a series of hands-on education experiences in Israel and Ireland where prior experience in combating terrorism and emergency situations has been conducted on a first hand basis, which will be followed by with professional evaluations that meet emergency response situations in the United States.

Our Vision

To enhance, through unique education experiences, the ability of first responders to react to the impact terrorism has on every country in the 21st Century on its' population and economy, by leveraging the response to terrorism that the Israeli security forces manage on a daily basis and adapting it for use in the United States.

Goals and Objectives

Education will be provided for first response personnel, emergency planners, medical and health professionals and commercial security managers. The objective is for these individuals to observe first-hand  counter terrorist planning and response. Such a structured program in a realistic environment is priceless. The terrorism awareness program (TAP) is especially relevant to the target rich infrastructure in the United States and supplements each trainees knowledge, enabling them to fine tune their response plans and procedures. A participating City, County or commercial entity will provide selected representatives from the stated disciplines to be members of the team. Candidates will be selected from Law Enforcement, Fire, Medical, Hazmat, Military, Emergency Planning, Commercial Security and Elected Officials who have a primary role in public safety and homeland security.

The terrorism awareness program ensures oversight, management and a high level of participation, concluding with a formal written assessment that each person completes upon their return that covers best practices, procedures and concepts.

Preliminary one day speaking engagements have been structured to introduce potential trainees to the program and cover a wide range of topics to increase a trainee's knowledge and awareness.

The program includes an exchange of individuals from each participating hosting country to visit selected municipalities for additional exercises to improve team building. To learn more click here or email us.
